Today was a very full, very productive Sunday starting with errands at 10 AM and not slowing down once. My day included everything from
Building a cat tree (they’re going to love it),
Cleaning and mopping,
Laundry,
Cardio and my squat challenge (my legs are so sore),
A little sushi break (yes, please),
Visiting my grandson, picking up my granddaughter,
Grocery shopping,
Skincare and makeup time,
Family phone calls,
Some time to play on my computer,
Getting in my Mindset Challenge,
And even organizing closets (yes... really).
Honestly, most of my days are like this I’m someone who always feels like I need to be doing something. But I also know I need to be better about slowing down and giving myself rest, especially when I’m sore like this. I’ve been pushing through cardio, a squat challenge, and the mindset challenge, and while I’m proud of my consistency, it’s catching up to my body a bit. So tonight, it’s definitely rest and recovery time.
This upcoming week will be full of calls and appointments, especially with a couple of my doctors retiring. I’ll also be working on new affirmations for myself and finishing my library book before it’s due back. Little by little, I know that things will start shifting. Maybe not overnight, but I believe change is coming and I’m holding onto that.
Before I sign off, I just want to say that my heart is with the children and families in Texas. What’s happening is heartbreaking beyond words. I have links up on my social media if you’re looking for a way to help anything, even the smallest action, makes a difference. The world is carrying so much right now... I end every night with a prayer for the world, and tonight is no different.
Sending you rest, love, and light.
Goodnight, friends. 💛
