It still amazes me how fast this year is flying the halfway mark is already here! I've been keeping my thoughts lifted for LA

🏊‍♀️ From Poolside Fun to Library Treasures
Our Sunday began early by the pool soaking up sunshine and watching my granddaughter splash around. From there, we headed out for lunch and made our way to the library. That trip turned into a treasure hunt I bought ten books to begin filling my two large bookshelves and create a cozy reading nook in my room. And, we bought the the Dr. Seuss collection it’s such a joy seeing her eyes light up as we checked out the whole series! I also have a surprise coming in tomorrow she does know about.

🛍️ Errands, Naps, and Summer Prep
We ran by Target for summer essentials and picked up a few extras before heading home. My granddaughter was so tired from the excitement that she took a late nap exactly what she needed!
Later, we dove into our crafting bin. Tie-dyeing was a hit she made one shirt, her mother made two, and we stocked up on more whites to keep the creativity flowing. With around 15 bins of crafts, our summer plans are overflowing park days, pool dips, and monthly craft dates await!

💪 Movement, Healing & Mindset
My shoulder, back, and neck are still healing it was noticeable when I did my makeup this morning. Movement was a bit uncomfortable, but I pushed through gently to avoid stiffness, alternating ice and stretching to encourage recovery. Even on the tough days, I’m committed to Day 17 of my 30‑Day Movement Challenge. Progress isn’t always perfect it’s in showing up, every day. And you are doing the same. 💕

✨ Grateful for Family & Plans Ahead
My granddaughter is officially on summer break, and I couldn’t be prouder of her school year, friendships, and growth. Now, the outdoor fun officially begins!
Behind the scenes, we’re planning family reunions and hoping a New York trip pans out for me it was postponed last year due to my health, but looking likely this time. I’ll make sure the timing works for everyone.

🍿 Tonight’s Quiet Moment: Straw on Netflix
As the evening winds down, I’m tuning into the buzzworthy Netflix film Straw, starring Taraji P. Henson. It follows a single mother who’s pushed to her limit in a high-tension day critics are calling it emotionally intense, with standout performances and social depth. I’m ready for a heartfelt watch while my daughter and granddaughter enjoy another cozy movie night (followed by Roblox with Uncle, of course).

Total recap: A pool morning, Dr. Seuss haul, tie-dye fun, healing workouts, and family moments all wrapped up with a movie to end the day.
I hope your Monday was just as fulfilling. Here’s to a week full of warm memories, creativity, and continued movement body & mind. You’ve got this, and I can’t wait to share tomorrow’s moments with you.
