Day 16 of the movement challenge is officially in the books! I’m so thankful to say that I’m nearly fully healed just a little gentle movement today to stay on track without risking re-injury. I can feel my body responding to the rest and care I’ve been giving it, and that’s such a good reminder healing is progress.
Yesterday, my son introduced me to a phone game something I never thought I’d be into! I’m really not a phone game person at all, but this one totally surprised me. It’s called CookieRun Kingdom, and oh my gosh… I’m hooked! It’s so much fun, and there’s so much going on that it never gets boring. Plus best part? No ads! That’s always been my biggest complaint with mobile games, so this one was a pleasant surprise. It does kill my battery (lol), but luckily, I have two phones. Problem solved!
Aside from a little gaming, today was a calm one. I got a few things done around the house and gave myself space to keep healing. I love these kinds of Saturdays the slower, cozier ones where I’m surrounded by things I love. This is definitely my cozy era, and I am here for it. 💛
This upcoming week is going to be packed park time, pool time, and a few appointments. My granddaughter is officially out of school, and she’s so excited! I’m incredibly proud of her. She had a wonderful school year filled with friends, fun, and so much growth. Watching her flourish has been such a joy.
She’s still doing playdates over the summer, so our days will stay busy in the best way. My daughter recently sent me some old photos and videos of when she was around three, completely obsessed with Frozen. It brought back such sweet memories, and I even shared some of them on Instagram and Facebook (including my private accounts). I swear, I have thousands of pictures of all the kids it’s wild. But one of my favorite things? The drawings and pictures my granddaughter makes for me. I have a big pile of her art right above my computer, proudly displayed next to a school project she did that I absolutely love. These are the moments I treasure most.
Being both a mom and a grandma is one of the greatest blessings of my life. These are the memories I hold close and the reasons I keep showing up each day, doing the best I can.
I hope your Saturday was filled with comfort, joy, and a little bit of fun. Here's to more cozy moments and a week full of sunshine and excitement ahead! You are amazing never forget that. 🌸
