Today was such a full and joyful day! With school just about to wrap up in a couple of days, weāve decided that summer activities are going to be in full swing just about every day. The weather was beautiful, a little warm after a full day of play and recess, so we headed to one of our favorite calm spots, the library.
The library is more than just books for us itās games on the computer, cozy reading corners, and today, even a puppet show! My granddaughter loved every second, and we checked out more books for our nightly reading routine. Watching her love reading is the sweetest thing. And while she found her favorites, I snagged five books from my own healing and mindset Wishlist books Iāve been eager to dive into, and I canāt wait to crack them open this weekend.
On the fitness front, I got in Day 11 of my movement challenge and felt amazing! Iāve been adding in stretching twice a day once in the morning and again before bedāand itās making such a difference in how my body feels. While I was stretching, my granddaughter (as she often does!) hopped on the treadmill for a few minutes, jamming to my music. Itās the cutest thing and such a fun moment to share.
Iām also someone who hasnāt had caffeine since 2018 no soda since my 20s, no energy drinks, no pre-workout. I just donāt need it. I love the taste of coffee, so Iāll have decaf, but Iāve always been someone with natural energy⦠enough for two people, really! Itās something Iāve always been thankful for. No judgment to those who use it I just know my rhythm, and I roll with it.
Iām feeling strong, motivated, and full of that amazing muscle memory that kicks in when your body remembers how much it loves to move. I hope you had a beautiful Monday and that tomorrow brings you even more joy. But if it doesnāt, thatās okay too. Youāre here, and that alone is everything.
