Today was a whirlwind of productivity, and I managed to check off everything on my to-do list. Despite the busyness, I carved out time for Day 8 of my movement challenge, and it felt invigorating!
I've found that evening workouts align best with my energy levels. While I used to be a 4 a.m. exerciser, I realized that early mornings left me drained. Transitioning to evening sessions has been a game-changer, allowing me to harness my peak energy and truly enjoy the process. Interestingly, studies suggest that evening workouts can enhance performance due to increased body temperature and muscle flexibility later in the day
Lately, I've been incorporating weights into my routine, and the added resistance has been both challenging and rewarding. To keep things fresh and prevent monotony, I've started jogging again. It's not quite running yet, but it's a step in the right direction. Switching up workouts not only keeps boredom at bay but also engages different muscle groups, promoting overall fitness and preventing plateaus .
One piece of advice I often remind myself of is the importance of stepping out of my comfort zone. Trying new exercises or routines can reignite passion and motivation. After years of consistent training, I'm tapping into muscle memory, and it's incredible to feel that strength resurface.
There's truly nothing like the combination of a fulfilling workout and a positive mindset. The endorphin rush, the sense of accomplishment, and the mental clarityit’s unparalleled.
I hope everyone had a fantastic Thursday. Here's to an even better Friday ahead! Let's keep pushing forward and embracing the journey.
