A Day Full of Smiles (After a Tough One)

Yesterday was rough, my pancreas was definitely not in the best of moods, and I ended up sleeping a lot just trying to give my body the rest it clearly needed. It’s never easy when those days hit, but I try to honor what my body’s asking for, even if it slows everything down.

That’s why today felt extra special. It was a really good day where things just felt lighter. I started the morning with my Botox appointment, then spent some time with family before heading to the mall this evening.

Family surprised my granddaughter with a trip to Build-A-Bear she’s been holding my Animal Crossing Isabelle plush hostage for weeks now, so we decided it was time for her to have one of her own (though a little different, of course). She was so happy, and honestly, seeing her light up made my whole day.

Of course, I treated myself to a few little things too, and I picked up some Sleep Token merch for my daughter, who’s beyond excited for her concert later this year.

We wrapped the day up with a great dinner and some relaxing family time. After yesterday, it felt good to be up, out, and smiling again.

I hope everyone had a great day too and if it wasn’t, that tomorrow brings better. Always grateful for the good ones when they come. 💛

With love,
Trish
