I hope everyone is getting ready for Thanksgiving because wow, it is PACKED out there. We had to run out today, not even for Thanksgiving food, just regular things, and it was wild.
My son, the one who is about to have a baby any day now, ended up getting sick. He’s staying here for the moment so his wife doesn’t catch it especially with her being so close to labor. He still has to work, so he can only be here a little bit at a time, but he made the hard and loving decision to keep his family healthy. I’m praying he gets better quickly so he doesn’t miss the birth, but we can’t control germs. You can pick something up from anywhere, anytime.
Honestly, we’re all sick over here upper respiratory coughs and sore throats so at this point we’ll just recover together. He’s upset about getting sick right now, and I don’t blame him, but God has us. We will get through it.
I hope that everyone has an amazing day today and an even better one tomorrow. I probably won’t post tomorrow my daughter and granddaughter start cooking early, and they are SO excited. Later in the evening, we’ll be dropping my granddaughter off, so we’re going to soak up every minute together. She was already baking today with my daughter, snuggling, laughing, and just being her sweet self. We’ll play games, enjoy the time, and just be a family. That’s what matters most.
Even though I’m sick, I still feel so blessed. We all are, in different ways you just have to slow down and look for those moments in the day. It’s easy to focus on the negative, but God teaches us to choose the good. Keeping Him first in my life convicts me to do right, even when it’s hard, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
I haven’t been on my social media accounts much today. We spent a lot of time donating things to people who need it, and that’s what life is about helping where you can. Hard times are hitting so many people, and we went through a lot of our things knowing someone else could use them more. Please remember that we’re all going through something. Pray that things get better for people, that families have stability, food, love, and peace.
And yes, I’m always going to say it love God. Bring Him into your life. That was the best decision I ever made. I love my Bible time. I love not listening to secular music anymore. I love decorating my Bible and learning every day. God is amazing.
Also if you haven’t watched The Chosen on Prime, it’s incredible. We even saw it being promoted in the store yesterday, and it’s just so beautiful to see how many people are starting to follow God. It fills my heart.
December is almost here. I’m already almost done with Christmas shopping did everything early this year, just a few more things left. Family is coming down, and my oldest will be visiting for a couple of weeks after that, so I’m feeling very blessed.
Anyway, I better run.
Love you all, and know that I am praying for this world, for everyone I know, and for all of you. I want nothing but good for each of you.
Hugs, and God bless.
