Happy Friday, everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful day I definitely did. It felt so good to put on makeup for the second day in a row after being down with both a cold and pancreatitis. It’s been over a month now dealing with this flare, but I truly feel like things are finally getting better. I’m still being careful with food for the next few days, just to make sure everything continues to move in the right direction.
I’ve had a couple of busy days running around, and while it left me pretty tired, I’m so thankful there’s been no pain. That’s a huge step forward. In a few more days, I’ll slowly start adding a bit more to my diet and if all goes well, I’ll begin gentle walks, taking it one small step at a time. I’m not rushing this process; I’ve learned to listen to my body and let healing happen at its own pace.
I’ve got two GI appointments coming up where we’ll talk about how to prevent future flares, and I’m praying for clear answers. I did have to miss my community Bible study this week because of being sick, but I’m planning to be back in church next Sunday. I’m so excited for what’s ahead getting baptized, and soon after, serving in mid-November. It feels like such a full and blessed season coming up with birthdays, celebrations, and so many beautiful moments to look forward to.
On another note, I decided to take down my regular TikTok account. It just doesn’t align with my beliefs anymore, and I’m tired of all the negativity and “rage-baiting” that fills so much of it. My life has changed, and so have my priorities everything now has to align with God and the peace He brings. I might shift to focusing more on my faith-based Instagram and continue sharing encouragement there.
I’m so happy with where I’m at thankful, growing, healing, and walking with God every step of the way. I love God and Jesus. End of story. 🙏💛
